Full-Arch Implant Restoration

Quickly Replace All Missing Teeth

If you are missing all of your teeth or have a failing dentition, full-arch dental implant restoration offers a transformative solution—replacing all teeth in the upper or lower jaw with a fixed prosthesis supported by dental implants. In many cases, this can be done in a single day, allowing patients to leave surgery with a full set of natural-looking, functional teeth.

This approach is commonly referred to as “Same-Day Teeth” or “Immediate Load Implants.” It involves close coordination between this office and your restorative dentist, using advanced imaging and digital planning to ensure accurate implant placement and optimal outcomes.

How It Works

The process begins with a 3D CT scan to evaluate your bone anatomy. Using specialized software, we virtually plan your implant surgery and design your final prosthesis before the actual procedure. This digital workflow reduces surgery time and enhances precision.

On the day of surgery:

  • Dental implants are placed with a minimally invasive, guided technique.
  • A custom-made, temporary set of teeth is attached the same day.
  • After a healing period (typically 3–6 months), your final prosthesis is placed.

Who Is a Candidate?

You may be a candidate if you:

  • Are missing all teeth in one or both arches
  • Have teeth that cannot be saved due to decay, periodontal disease, or trauma
  • Desire a fixed (non-removable) solution to restore your smile

Is it really possible to get teeth the same day as implant surgery?

Yes—in many cases, patients can receive a temporary, fixed set of teeth on the same day as implant placement. However, careful planning and coordination between your surgical and restorative teams are required ahead of time. The final, permanent prosthesis is typically placed after a healing period of 3–6 months.
Traditional implant treatments often involve multiple surgeries and several months of healing before teeth are placed. Same-Day Teeth (or immediate load implants) allow for implant placement and delivery of a temporary prosthesis in one visit—minimizing downtime and reducing the need for removable dentures during healing.
Yes. Most full-arch implant cases are performed under IV sedation to ensure your comfort and reduce anxiety during surgery. You’ll be monitored closely throughout the procedure for safety.
Most patients report mild to moderate swelling or discomfort for a few days, which is managed with medications and a soft food diet. Full healing of the implants typically occurs over 3–6 months, at which point your final prosthesis is placed.
You’ll need to follow a soft food diet during the initial healing phase. Think yogurt, scrambled eggs, soups, mashed potatoes, soft pasta, fish, smoothies, and ice cream. Avoid hard, crunchy, or chewy foods that might stress the implants.
Modern digital planning allows us to strategically place implants at an angle to avoid certain anatomical structures and make use of existing bone. In some cases, bone grafting or sinus lift procedures may be recommended prior to or during surgery.
